Pail and Burp Rags for 2nd giveaway!

Close-up of writing on 1st giveaway pail

Close-up of Ribbons on 1st giveaway pail

1st giveaway pail!!!

Okay....I'm behind on posting on this blog and for getting new items up on the website, etc. I'm trying to get through the end of the school year (I have until Friday at 1:10 p.m.--not that I'm counting down or anything!). If you like what you see, I'll be adding lots of new things next week on my first official week of summer break!

Onto the giveaway!!!!! This is being hosted by SewMamaSew!

I'm going to have two giveaways.....The first is a small pail measuring about 6 inches tall with the bible verse of "Trust in the Lord with all your heart" Proverbs 3:5. It is decorated with pink/black/cheetah ribbons. It is great as a pen holder, gift holder, decoration, etc. Really whatever your mind could imagine.

The 2nd giveaway is for a small pail to be personalized for a boy or girl and then coordinating burp rags. I haven't created the actual one for the giveaway yet because I didn't one to do a girl one and then have the people all want a boy one, so I'm going to post a picture of a previous one I've done and whenever the winner gets notified you can let me know which one you would like!!! I hope you enjoy what you see. Let me know if you have any questions!

I will choose the winners by best answer to your family's favorite summer vacation trip. It can be one that you are looking forward to going on or one that is a favorite one of the past. Your choice. The giveaways are open until Friday, May 31st. I will NOT ship internationally. I'll ship the gifts out by June 3rd. I usually ship USPS and as soon as we get two winners, I'll post the names and then ship the gifts off.

Thanks for visiting!

  1. Cute giveaway! I LIVE for family vacations! My favorite renting a house boat and hanging out for a week at Lake Powell. It is so wonderful to not have any place to go or anything to do. I love not knowing what time it is and not caring!

  2. I really want to go to Disney World with our son! We went when we didn't have kids yet and had a blast! I think that it will be more magical with a child with!

If I win I would like a boy pail (for my son!)

    Thanks

  3. My favorite summer vacation was the summer that my husband and I got married. We spent 6 weeks tent camping around the western U.S for our honeymoon. We went to 6 National Parks, and drove 8600 miles. I broke my fingernail completely off in the beer can window of our truck in Wyoming trying to get a water from the cooler. We went to Oregon(beautiful) and tried to pump our own gas because we didn't know better. And we went through all of our money and had to call my mom and have her deposit $75 in our bank account so that we could make it the rest of the way home! I have amazing memories from all of my vacations, but that one just sticks out!

I would like a girl pail if I win, to give as a gift to my friend who is due in August with a little girl. :) My "little" girl is 15 months old now! We are planning on having more, but since I can't see the future...

  4. My husband and I camped in the Keys once in early May, and it was heavenly. We were too late for the snowbirds and too early for the summer crowd. The weather was mild enough for camping, so we saved lots of money on lodging. And we drove, which saved money too!

  5. My favorite vacation spot is St. George Island, Florida. It brings back great memories of walking on the beach with my grandparents. I love going there with my family. It is not the typical Florida beach.

  6. For our second anniversary, my hubby & I went to the beach and stayed in a B&B that was on a yacht! I loved it. And, the food was uh-mazing. The last night we were the only people left staying there so they moved us to the honeymoon suite. It was HUGE and had glass windows on 3 sides. We fell asleep looking over the Gulf of Mexico and watching the lights of ships passing by.

Thanks for the chance to enter your giveaway! I've got one at http://lalepop.wordpress.com :)

  7. Going to Orcas Island with my husband's family every year is my favorite trip. Their property sits right on the oceanfront and is secluded from malls, cell phone reception, internet, you name it. It's a great chance to enjoy God's creation of nature and family!

  8. Oh gosh, let's see, best family vacation? Hmm...I'm thinking that's the one we are currently planning for our 3 year old twin daughters 15th birthdays (YEP, that's right!). We hope to be able to take them on a special family vacation to Walt Disney World and if they are game give them an ALL OUT PRINCESS experience! I know, it's silly, and who knows if at that age they'll be willing, but you have to check out my blog and see their Princess themed party pics from earlier this month (add that to the fact that they were born @ 23 weeks & 5 days and only weighed 1.4 & 1.5 lbs when they were born) well, you can see why we're making these plans--LOL!!

    Hugs & Blessings!

  9. Right now I am longing to go to the beach. When I was a little girl some of my favorite summer getaways were camping with my grandparents in Degray State Park. Love your pail and burp cloths. Thanks for participating.

  10. I'm drooling over the cute girlie burp cloths! Our favorite getaway is to go camping. Texas has some great parks, and we're hoping to see as many as we can while we're here!

  11. My favorite summer vacations were when we all went together to Disney World, it was aunts, uncles, cousins and grandma! It was soo much fun being able to go there with my cousins (who were almost like brothers) and for us to all ride all the rides, and see sea world together. We had a blast. The 23 hour car ride wasn't bad either. One of my cousins got stuck in a McDonalds playland toy, he climbed up but he couldn't manage the climb down... lol stuck up in that hamburger! Great times!

    Thanks for doing the giveaway.

  12. I'm LOVIN these ideas! The burp cloths are perfect-I'm 30 weeks pregnant with a little girl right now!

We have a condo at the beach and go down several times during the summer. Our son is on 21 months so he's only been last summer and this summer. We went 2 weeks ago with just the three of us and had a blast! I think this is the first time we've gone as a family without my little bro, sis, or rest of the family coming too!

  13. My family always spends a week in the summer at our cabin in New Mexico. The weather is lovely and the best thing I remember is having an elaborate breakfast on the deck, just me and Grandmommie.

    Beautiful work, thanks for participating.

  14. I love the ideas! I have a little boy that could use the burp clothes! Our best family vacation was at Hilton Head island. We stayed in a house that was about 3 rows from the beach (so we could hear the surf from the screened in porch, but couldn't see the ocean). We walked to the beach in the mornings and evenings, read books on the porch in the afternoons (while the kids napped), rode bikes through many of the bike trails (Hilton Head is know from their bike trails and they are great!), but most of all we had a good time just being together as a family, my husband, our two (at the time) kids, my sister, her husband, and two kids, and our parents. It was a great time together! Thanks for the great giveaway!

  16. sooooo cute. It has been our dream to as a family to visit all the major league baseball fields and attend a game. For now we just support our local triple A team as the tickets are cheap and we don't have to venture far from home. Thanks for giving me a moment to daydream.

  17. These are adorable. I have two nephews that are new (one's just been born, and one is still cookin!) So I'd opt for a boy one. :)

Favorite family vacay....last year we took the pop up camper and went camping at a state park near the beach. We were there almost a week and just had so much fun being together and going back to simpler times. I love when we can do that with our children. :)

  30. My favorite vacation was not in the summer, but it was in October - hubby and I took a babymoon cruise to the Mediterranean, then took a flight to Paris when it was over. We saw so many great things at port, ate great food (at port and on the boat), and had a heck of a good time with our last big vacation without baby.

  32. In 97, we took our 6 children cross country on a 5 week trip. from Maine to California! OUr oldest was graduating the next year and this would be our last opportunity to travel together. We had never done a real family vacation...only day trips or weekend types of things...it's expensive with 6! We saved for this vacation for 5 years, got permission for a leave of absence a year in advance from the paper mill my husband works at and took off from there. It was wonderful!!!!! We had a second had popup camper, a pup tent and our van for sleeping quarters....all went well and the kids talked about it for years! It really was a once in a lifetime thing for us!

I FINALLY got my brother/SIL/nephew, PLUS my parents, plus my husband and child together for a week--the longest all of us have been side by side in 15 years (or EVER in the case of the kiddos). I'm really hopeful to reconnect with my brother's family and inspire future connections.

  43. We're not going anywhere this summer because we are saving for an adoption, but in the past, it is anywhere that we go on a road trip. We've gone to Mammoth Cave and up into Michigan. We've gone to San Antonio. We've gone to Chicago. It usually falls in with another event, like someone's wedding or birth or funeral, and then we make it into a roadtrip vacation. Mammoth Cave was on the way to my grandma's funeral. I think vacations are what you make them. Fun with the whole family no matter where you are or where you're going. Just go with it and relax.

Oh and I would love to win the burp cloths. My sister in law is having twins. She doesn't know the sex though. Can they be in yellow or orange or green colors? Something unisex?
Thanks for the chance to win!

  45. We're taking a family trip to Delhi, India next year. Little one in tow and all. I cannot WAIT I am so excited. I hear the sari's calling my name!!

My favorite family trip to date is not as exotic-my parents used to take my siblings and I to Stricklands (a water park) as a kid. It was dirty, over crowded, and had horrible slides (actually I think there was only one-it was mainly just platforms you jump off and diving boards and such) haha, not much like the water parks these days. Anyways, I would have so much fun having a picnic and chasing my brother and sister off the platforms. I even broke my first bone there...oh memories...
